In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been stirred up by the Holy Spirit to set up an online prayer room for one hour everyday from Thursday, 26th March 2020. The theme for this intervention is Jesus Our Peace. Mark 4:35-39, Psalm 107:29
Sometimes ago, Jesus was in a boat with his friends crossing the sea to another side when suddenly, a violent windstorm came up, and the waves were breaking over the boat so that it was being swamped. His friends knew he could help so they called out to him asking him to save them.
The disciples went and woke Him saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.
Today, Jesus is alive to do it again when we ask in faith! He'll calm any storms to a whisper, and hush the waves of the sea. As we cry out to Him for help, He'll rebuke the storms of COVID-19 to cease and bring calmness to the troubled heart.
